The Nucleus-M is a revolutionary, wireless follow focus system. Tilta’s Nucleus-M system offers full control over focus, aperture and zoom with cine lenses or compatible “cine moded” DSLR lenses. Ideal for 3-axis gimbal systems, shoulder camera setups or on drones.
The radio-controlled focus puller Nucleus-M has absolutely precise working motors that transmit the smallest changes for zoom, aperture and sharpness to the lens. The settings can be made using a control unit with a large handwheel and clearly readable digital display, or using two separate handles, on the one hand for focus control, and on the other hand for iris and zoom adjustment. The speed is infinitely variable and optimally solved with soft starting and braking. The range is 300 m and is therefore also ideal for drone use.
The hand unit and hand grips are each powered with two 18650 rechargeable batteries. When fully charged, the batteries in the hand grips last up to 2 days, while in the hand unit they last up to 10 hours.
Remote start/stop is possible by plugging a compatible Nucleus-M R/S cable into the open 7-pin port of a motor. This then gives you R/S capabilities through the hand unit and/or the handles.
