Upgraded, redesigned and packed with new features, the Lumix GH5 mirrorless camera from Panasonic offers an excellent imaging platform for photographers who demand the best video and photo quality you can get in a single compact camera. At the heart of the camera is a 20.3 MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a newly developed Venus Engine processor, both of which offer dramatically improved processing times over their predecessor. This makes it possible to record 4K video at up to 60 fps, 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording with selected settings, Full HD video at up to 180 fps, continuous shooting at 12 fps and sensitivities up to ISO 25600 record. The camera has built-in 5-axis sensor stabilization compatible with select lenses to enable Dual IS 2 for highly effective motion correction that can compensate for up to 5 shutter speeds. Other improvements include a faster and more advanced DFD autofocus system that locks in as little as 0.05 seconds, as well as 6K PHOTO at 30 fps and 4K PHOTO at up to 60 fps.
In addition to all these internal improvements, the body itself has also been significantly improved. For viewing and composing images, both the 0.76x OLED viewfinder and the 3.2-inch free-angle touchscreen received resolution increases of up to 3.68m-dot and 1.62m-dot, respectively. This makes photography more convenient and accurate. The magnesium alloy body is now cold resistant down to -10 °C. In addition to splash and dust resistance, there are now two UHS-II SD card slots for fast image transfer and storage, and it offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for advanced features for a fully wireless setup combined with a mobile phone application .

It offers superb three-dimensional color control and precise noise reduction techniques to support shooting at sensitivities up to ISO 25600.
